In the world of digital innovation, the OSMX Project is leading a ground-breaking revolution in open street map data collection and enhancement, leveraging the combined forces of community contributions and the transformative power of blockchain technology. Imagine a world where drivers and AI miners come together in a harmonious blend, driving forward the accuracy and depth of OSM data sets to new heights.
Development RoadMap
We have an ambitious plan to transform open-source mapping in 2024 for the open-source community, by the open-source community.
Here's how it works: Drivers, armed with nothing more than their smartphones and the OSMX app, transform their everyday commutes into data-gathering missions. This app, doubling as an in-car dash cam, captures GPS and crisp 4K video data, making every trip a valuable contribution to the mapping world. And the best part? These contributions don't go unrewarded. Drivers earn OSMX tokens for their efforts, paving the way for a new era of map creation and utilization.
But it doesn't stop with the drivers. The journey of data from road to map is a sophisticated one, involving AI-powered docker miners equipped with RTX GPUs. These miners process the collected data, sifting through video quality, interpreting road signs, and more, all while being incentivized with OSMX tokens. This creates a sustainable ecosystem of contribution and reward, ensuring the ongoing enhancement of map data.
The result? An unparalleled data set that includes the most up-to-date map information, accurate speed limits, and detailed imagery, freely available for personal, community, or other open-source projects. The OSMX Project not only overcomes the existing limitations of OSM data for commercial use but also introduces a reliable, enriched dataset suitable for a wide range of enterprise applications.
How does one become part of this mapping revolution? Through data capture via the OSMX driver app, AI processing with RTX-based mining rigs, and contributing to the OSMX map compute nodes. Participants are rewarded with OSMX tokens, not just initially but perpetually, each time their data is accessed commercially. This ensures that the benefits of the worldwide mapping network are equitably shared among those who help to build it.
